String Lessons

St. Croix Lutheran offers weekly on-campus beginning and advanced violin and viola lessons. Currently, there are two instructors available: Marra Dietsche (SCL strings director) and Josh Misner of Misner Studios.


Lessons are weekly and follow the school vacation schedule.


Contact the instructors for current rates. Payment is due the first lesson of each session.


Marra Dietsche

Marra Dietsche is a violinist and pianist who recently moved to this area after living and teaching general music, orchestra and choir in Kenosha, WI for eleven years. She is a graduate of Lawrence University (B. Music Ed.) and Anderson University (M. Music Ed.). Marra grew up studying violin in the Suzuki method and has training in teaching the Suzuki method from UW Stevens Point. She will be teaching the String Ensemble for St. Croix high school students as well as offering private or group lessons for elementary and middle school students on violin, viola and cello.
