Make Friends from Around the World
Imagine a school day where your son or daughter engages in social studies with classmates not only from the Twin Cities, but also from countries like Ukraine or Brazil. Picture a choir soloist hailing from South Korea. At SCLA, this is a daily reality. Our school is blessed to welcome students from around the globe, fostering a unique and enriching learning environment for all.
A Global Community
SCLA is truly a global community, with approximately 20% of our students coming from outside the United States. Each year, our comprehensive international program brings students from 15-20 different countries to our campus. Since the program's inception in 1995, we have welcomed students from over 60 countries.
Enriching Student Life
International students actively participate in every aspect of life at SCLA, from academics and athletics to music and leadership. Beyond daily interactions, we celebrate the rich diversity of our student body with our biennial International Festival, a special event that allows students to experience a variety of cuisines, traditions, and attire from cultures around the world.
Preparing for the Future
The tapestry of cultures and perspectives at SCLA enriches the lives of all our students. By learning and growing in a global community, they gain invaluable skills and insights that prepare them for life in the 21st century. Our diverse student body reflects the global society in which they will live and work, fostering an understanding that we are all children of God, united in His service and for His glory.
Come see how SCLA prepares students for a world without borders. We look forward to welcoming your family into our vibrant, global community.
