Run the Ravine 5K

Celebrating Five Years of the 5K!
Conquer Simon's Ravine at the 5th Annual Run the Ravine 5K at SCLA! This well-maintained, fully paved trail winds through the woods of Kaposia Park and is considered perfect for walkers and somewhat challenging for runners. Dogs (on leashes) are welcome!
The 5th Annual SCLA Run the Ravine 5K route begins at SCLA, winds through Thompson and Kaposia Parks through Simon's Ravine, and ends back at SCLA.
Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and car sticker.
5K medals will be awarded for the top finishers in the following age divisions:
- Top male and female 12 and under
- Top male and female ages 13-19
- Top male and female ages 20-29
- Top male and female ages 30-39
- Top male and female ages 40-49
- Top male and female age 50+
Kids Fun Run
The Kids Fun Run is on the newly resurfaced SCLA track (registration required). Medals are award to top boy and girl finishers. Commemorative ribbons are provided for all participants.
Registration
Register each person in your group, including children, using the group form. Same-day registration (t-shirts not guaranteed for same-day registrants) and check-in start at 9:00 a.m.
Can't come on the day of the event but want to be involved? Register as a Sideline Supporter or Gold/Silver/Bronze Sponsor. This will allow you to support the cause from afar. All Sideline Supporters and Sponsors will receive a t-shirt.
Thank you for your support! Proceeds keep the SCLA Activities Department strong for its athletes. Special thanks to the SCLA cross-country team for their volunteer work during this event.
Volunteer
Volunteers are needed on the day of the event to help with set-up, registration, race duties, and clean-up. Thanks for signing up!
