Community students in grades 7-8 have an awesome opportunity to play competitive tackle football in the Metro Football League for a fraction of the cost of most community education programs. The season runs from August 16 through mid-October, and all equipment is provided. Home games and practices take place at St. Croix Lutheran Grades 6-12, 1200 Oakdale Avenue, West St. Paul, MN. About St. Croix Lutheran
St. Croix Lutheran Grades 6-12 is a private Christian middle school and high school located in West St. Paul, MN. Established in 1958, the school offers a full range of academic courses in English, mathematics, science, business life skills, religion, the fine arts, world languages, social studies, and physical education. Accelerated, advanced placement, and college-level STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) courses are offered to ensure that students are well prepared for post-secondary education. 95% of SCL graduates pursue additional education at the university or college level after graduation. 100% of seniors graduated in 2016. The school offers 23 interscholastic sports as a member of the Tri Metro Conference. The football program has claimed the section championship for the last five years and won the state Class AAA championship in 2011 and 2013. In addition to athletics, students have opportunities to participate in drama, music, and leadership programs. SCL’s on-site 152-bed dormitory opened in May 2015. International students from 17 countries make up 25% of the student body.
