Financial Aid and Scholarships

Except for the TRIA Scholarship and the SCLA Association Discount, all financial aid is need-based and comes in the form of

• Financial assistance, and
• Named, individual scholarships

Families of full-time American students may apply for financial assistance by completing the Blackbaud application form.  Applications open in January when tuition rates for the upcoming year are published.

Full-time American students may also apply for individual scholarships by completing the individual scholarship application forms below by February 15.

Students enrolled in the PSEO program and international students are not eligible to apply for tuition assistance or the scholarships listed.

Step 1. Complete the Blackbaud Application

There is no due date for general assistance, but if applying for individual scholarships, complete the application process, starting with the BBFAM application, by February 15.

Step 2. Receive Confirmation from Blackbaud

Blackbaud will send you an email confirming that they have received your application. Once you have received the confirmation email and submitted all required application materials, you may continue with step 3.

Step 3. Complete Individual Scholarship Applications

The online application must be completed for each discount or scholarship for which you are applying. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Association Discount (Grades 9-12)
Families who are members of an SCLA Association congregation are eligible for a discount by completing the online Association Discount form (click on the link below and select "Association Discount" from the drop-down menu.)

Once this online form is completed, we will forward your response to your pastor for verification. You do not need to submit a hard copy of the application.

Other Scholarships
Thirteen need-based scholarships are available to full-time American students, each with unique criteria—some requiring essays—and students may apply for any or all scholarships that align with their eligibility.

Step 4. Receive Aid Notification

If the financial assistance application is submitted by February 15, notification of any financial award will be made by April 1.  Applications may be resubmitted with change in life circumstances.
