Middle School
Growth Happens Here
Middle school is a time of tremendous growth and opportunity. As you navigate the path forward for your middle school student, consider how an SCLA experience will nurture your student spiritually, intellectually, and physically.
The St. Croix Lutheran Academy Middle School fosters a caring, Christian community of active learners and explorers for students in grades 6-8. Utilizing a collaborative learning environment including study groups and experiences outside of the classroom, an SCLA middle school education is designed to encourage students to define themselves and explore the world. Ultimately, SCLA middle school students put their gifts and talents into practice as servant leaders at school, in the community, and throughout the world.
The teachers of St. Croix Lutheran Academy's middle school emphasize exploratory, experiential, and innovative education to foster a love of lifelong learning.
Ability Placement
Academic planning in the St. Croix Lutheran Academy middle school is designed to meet the individual needs of each student. Using placement testing, students are grouped by ability and given the opportunity to take high-school-level math, literature, and world language courses during their middle school years. In addition, students enjoy taking engineering, science, U.S. history, art, music, and more. Small class sizes and the highly trained, caring teachers are prepared to challenge each student to new levels of success.
Christ-centered classrooms and Bible-based teaching point students to Christ, the source of all knowledge, wisdom, and talent.
