Wall of Honor

Nominations are accepted until September 15. Recipients will be notified in October and a public announcement will take place thereafter.

1. Wall of Honor nomination categories include Alumni, SCLA Supporter, or Faculty & Staff.
2. Names that make it to the final round of consideration for the Wall of Honor but are not selected may be nominated again at any point in the future.
3. Individuals/teams/groups that are selected for the SCLA Wall of Honor should reflect outstanding accomplishment in their field and recognize their God-given talents. Selected honorees are individuals who have excelled in their calling and represent SCLA in a positive light.
4. Each nomination is independent and must be evaluated on its own merits within its own context. For example, some nominees have passed the zenith of their calling, while others are just beginning and expecting continued growth. Some, while not being advanced in age, may be recognized for accomplishments of the past, e.g., an athlete or coach.
5. Please share a summary of the nominees St. Croix Lutheran story as well as contact information of the individual or family member to verify their willingness to be considered.

A distinguished servant nominee has been a champion for the St. Croix Lutheran ministry and displayed strong Christian leadership through gifts of time, talent, or treasure or played a key role behind the scenes. Excellent candidates include former board members, association pastors, and constituents who played a critical role in St. Croix Lutheran’s history, 

An alumni candidate must be an SCLA graduate of 10 years or more and may be an athlete, distinguished professional in their career field, minister of the gospel, or philanthropist.

• Crusader who performed with excellence and earned multiple letters in varsity sports. Post-SCLA athletic achievement can be taken into consideration.
• Professional who has distinguished themselves while pursuing excellence in their chosen career field.
• Minister who has distinguished him/herself in the full-time called ministry of Christ, making significant contributions to the advancement of the church’s mission.
• Servant who has contributed to the welfare of others through outstanding service or financial support.

A faculty and staff nominee is a current or former teacher, administrator, coach, or staff member who positively impacted the lives of students or direction of the ministry for eight or more years of service.
