Crusader Athletics

The SCL Crusaders compete in 24 Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) sports interscholastically, including baseball, basketball, football, soccer, track and volleyball.

St. Croix Lutheran is a member of the Tri Metro Conference, which includes area private and public schools.

The athletic complex includes one of the best tracks in the metro area, a football field, soccer fields, baseball and softball diamonds, and tennis courts, as well as a gymnasium and weight room.

The St. Croix Lutheran athletic program develops the total student physically. Athletes are expected to display Christian character while competing at the highest level of performance and success in and outside of the classroom.

About 75% of our students participate in at least one sport.

SCL athletes compete at the middle school, C, junior varsity, and varsity levels, based on ability. An athlete’s eligibility is established by the guidelines of the Minnesota State High School League. A current MSHSL eligibility statement, health questionnaire, and a current sports physical exam form must be on file at SCL before an athlete may practice or compete.
